Solar employs a cogeneration solution centered on gas turbines, also known as combined heat and power (CHP). Solar's CHP application for the ceramics industry utilizes exhaust heat from the gas turbine in ceramic spray dryers, introducing high-quality thermal energy into the drying process. A gas turbine connected to the spray dryer can increase process efficiency from 27-32% to 75-90%, saving both electricity and fuel costs for the ceramics industry. Cogeneration in ceramic applications provides independent power generation and heat supply simultaneously.
